Hello,

Welcome to a blog dedicated to a two year long project showcasing the artistic talents of artist Andrew Robinson. As on our sister blog: therocafort files, Andrew will be rendering single character pieces in pencil. He's committed to rendering 52 pieces in total over the next two years.

The pieces will focus primarily on characters from popular comics -- Captain America, Superman, Batwoman, and Black Widow for instance -- but this is not to say that pieces featuring lesser known characters, such as Mina Harker or Anita Bomba, or even other more obscure characters, those those that are not usually found to reside within the collective imagination of popular culture, are out of the realm of possibility: they are not, but the opportunity for Andrew to explore, illustrate, and reinterpret the most popular characters in comics presents a challenge that is just too fascinating, and enticing, not to explore.

So please join us as we follow Andrew's progress in this artistic endeavor. Feel free to suggest characters you'd like to see Andrew illustrate -- you never know, if your suggestion piques his interest, it might be illustrated.

Finally, let us all keep in mind that Andrew is a working professional, and commitments to his employers do, and must, come first, so if a week or two or more passes, without an illustration, we ask for your patience.
